Reason for the Season

T'was the night before Christmas and Santa is flying over a tiny village nestled in a snow covered valley.  For many, the season means a trip to your local needle work shop for a new stitched stocking for that special person in your life.  And who can resist the wonder and excitement of a child in a toy shop.  But for most, the season is a celebration of birth at our local place of worship.

Santa is drawn on 18 mesh canvas and measures 3 x 7 and the village is drawn and partially painted on French Blue canvas measuring 7 x 9.  The pieces are standing and weighted and connected by wisp of wire smoke with a finished design standing 12 inches tall.  Each student will customize their design by signage on the needle work shop.  The kit comes complete with the two canvases, wire, toy shop sign and stitch guide,  thread kit and stretcher bars.  As an option, Evertite stretcher bars may be ordered.
